I like to say that I have a day job as a rocket scientist, but more precisely I am a systems engineer for one of NASA's main engineering suppliers. My role is to get diverse groups of space engineers to work together, and I specialize in figuring out how to do things we have never done before, like coordinating US and Russian science experiments on the International Space Station.
I developed a coaching program for my company work, using the tools from More To Life to improve the performance of database developers and electrical engineers at work and at home. Thus I use the processes of More To Life and apply them to coaching every day.
At work, I ask the hard questions — and wait for the answers. With my family, as we settle my mother's estate, I ask what their conditions or — Provided thats — are. With my grown sons, I tell the truth and stand with them in their choices. With my grandkids, we play and we love. With my former husbands, I go for clear agreements and practice standing in my authority. I practice gratitude all around, yes — even about divorce.
Since 2001 I have taken and teamed many MTL courses, including most of the Advanced Courses, and last year I helped to coordinate four separate Leadership Conferences on 4 continents in less than 3 months — something we had never done before. I love the richness our diverse culture brings to our interactions!
Being a Coach seems like a perfect fit for me. I am an excellent facilitator of individuals and groups. I take my work seriously and myself lightly. Truth-telling is one of my specialties, along with good questions and loving support. Laughter is part of every session, and tears are part of most. For fun, I travel — trying new things like the Zip line. I take pictures and write as a way of capturing those adventures. I spent two summers working in Moscow at the Russian Control Center, and love immersing myself in different cultures.
What can I offer to you? I am intuitive, insightful, truthful, determined, creative, organized, passionate, steadfast, with a splash of humor. My goal is to help you see yourself more clearly, get clarity about what you want and don't want, and about what you will do and will not do.
I see us all making a difference in the world, one person at a time, with the ripples we start.

By the time I did the More To Life training in 1982 in California, I was a psychotherapist in private practice. Attending the weekend was a major turning point in my life. First meeting Brad Brown, co-founder of the More To Life program, who became my mentor and friend. Secondly, on Sunday evening, at the close of the training, I told Brad I wanted to do what he did. Less than three years later, I was a Senior Trainer.
In December '06, at the Trainer/Leadership Conference in London, we decided to launch the coaching initiative. Having spent many years coaching students and communities in the MTL program, as well as executive coaching in the corporate sector, I leapt at the opportunity to lead this initiative. And so it began.
Coaching has been a passion of mine for many years. Even when I was in elementary school, I was a student mentor, coaching peers — and that was Many Years Ago. Since then, even though I grew up, coaching remained a passion.
As a mother, grandmother, sister, friend, coaching is a natural outflow of being "for" another. Focusing that "for-ness" and being a part of someone"s evolutionary progress is exciting and fulfilling. Seeing them become more of who they are while they actualize their dreams is how I love spending my time.
The more others achieve the dreams that matter to them, the better the world becomes for our children and our children"s children. Coaching is such an effective way of making that come true.

I have been involved with the More To Life Program for more than 22 years, attending several MTL Advanced Courses and taking many leadership roles in the Northern California community, from running telegroups for new students to training leaders, including playing team roles on more than 20 teams.
I am also a SEE Mentor and a graduate of Coach U, with 8 years" professional experience as a life and business coach. Having had a successful career in sales and business development, I use my own experience to coach small-business owners, consultants, and start-ups on how to grow their business, and themselves.
Coaching is a passion for me, as well as a natural fit for my personality. I am proud of my ability to listen to what is being said and what is not, and regard my own insights as a bonus gift.
I believe that if there is no 'aha' moment during our first coaching session, then I am not the Coach for that person! I particularly enjoy showing people how to make the minor shifts that can change the quality of everything in their life and/or their business.

Some of the greatest joy that I receive in my life is facilitating someone to reach a new understanding that breaks them free of the chains that have been holding them back.
I was born and raised in New York City, left home at 14 and developed many skills for self-sufficiency. I've lived an eclectic life and I bring all of my experiences to my coaching and teaching. I've lived a fast-paced city life in a 3-piece suit in the corporate world, earning a large income, and I've been a poor organic farmer in New England and in Oregon, raising animals and making my own cheese, yogurt and herbal remedies. I've lived on a remote mountaintop, chopping wood and cooking on a wood-burning stove, and I've lived on an island inhabited by millionaires.
In 1980 The Children"s Aid Society hired me to design and run a summer program for 150 children in Spanish Harlem. This experience showed me how I could make a difference in people"s lives by coaching them to be more fully themselves, to follow their hearts and their dreams, and to discover and appreciate their hidden gifts, talents and true self-esteem. Years later, some of the participants contacted me, to thank me for helping them find their creative path out of Harlem into a larger world as professional performers.
I worked for several years in the employment industry, coaching people in career choices and helping them find their life"s work. A published author, I've created and taught writing workshops, supporting people to free their creative spirit and explore themselves through writing. I studied theatre at New York University"s Tisch School of the Arts with Stella Adler.
I've coached people in creating new businesses and reorganizing old businesses. But the proof is in the pudding — I have created several satisfying and financially successful businesses that supported me to raise my six amazing children as a single mother, continue my education and pursue my personal growth and coaching work.
As a parent I practiced natural medicine: giving birth at home, practicing attachment parenting and home educating my children for 25 years. I am a professional musician, a professional toy and product designer, a Mentor of Self Esteem and The Power of Purpose, and a Professional Life Coach.
I personally studied or participated in many different modalities of healing and therapy including Jungian, NLP, Primal Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Couples Counseling, Imago Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Group Therapy, Business Coaching, Personal Coaching, and have been taking personal growth and consciousness-raising courses with More To Life for more than nine years, including most of the Focus and Advanced Courses.
My coaching style is organic, integrated and holistic - people are not just what they think and say, but what they feel, believe and create from that. How we manifest all of this in our bodies with our health and in our relationships is a window into our current state of being. I coach for mind, body and spirit.
I support those around me to seek what they truly want in their lives - to find their deepest happiness, their most heartfelt contribution and to appreciate their essential qualities and gifts. I am naturally courageous, with the ability to discern the truth, speak it clearly and boldly with love. I have an ability to see beyond words to the depth of the matter, and have a deep understanding of the human spirit.
As your Coach, it"s my intention to support you in discovering your personal vision and life goals, and then to stand by you as you bring them to fruition!

I still remember driving home from my More To Life Weekend 10 years ago with my heart bursting with GRATITUDE. I had discovered that gratitude really is a state of being, a way of living, a CHOICE to make over and over again, right in the midst of all that life brings. That was how I wanted to live my life, and I still do.
Since taking that pivotal Weekend I have been extensively involved with More To Life as a non-profit organization. At the community level I have played various team roles including Training Supervisor, and I've been on the local Steering Committee. As a student of the program, I've taken all the Advanced Courses, while in leadership terms I'm a Power of Purpose Mentor, a Mastery teacher, a member of the More To Life Board since 2001, and now a certified More To Life Coach as well.
Melody Beattie said, 'Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, and confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.'
Life has given me many opportunities to practice my gratitude. Both the healing arts and the creative arts attract me. I earned a BFA from the University of Southern California, majoring in Art Education with a minor in Sociology, then went to graduate school and obtained a Secondary Teaching credential. I taught Junior High Art, High School Basic Design and Ceramics, and 3rd Grade, served on school boards and parents associations, and coached swimming at elementary and secondary levels.
Meanwhile, I raised 7 children and 5 foster children. As our children became young adults I started to focus on the healing arts, particularly holistic health care. Today I'm certified to practice Therapeutic Coaching, NLP, Master NLP, HNLP, Hypnosis Levels 1-4, Electronically Assisted Lymph Massage, Reiki Level 1, QXCI Biofeedback, and have begun studying Thai Massage Therapy.
This broad range of experiences and opportunities has prepared me as if I were a midwife of sorts. I've had the sacred honor to jump right in to all that life offers, just as it is and to gratefully stand alongside my loved ones during times of joy and times of sorrow and pain — everything from marriage, birth, creative partnerships and successful business adventures, to serious illness, divorce, business failures, accidents, major loss, grief, and legal battles.
I'm skilled at connecting and partnering with others as we journey together on this path of life we are given. I am growing and learning so much from 'midwifing' those who are going for right relationships, personal purpose, a new career that fits, spiritual development, or cracking through the walls and bars of a self-imposed prison. I marvel at the determination and creativity of the human spirit, and am inspired by the capacity I see in those who entrust themselves to Life and allow themselves the gift of support as they rediscover who they are and create their dreams.
Standing alongside others as a More To Life Coach is one of the great honors I am currently experiencing, and I am aware of the huge gifts of growth and transformation I receive in the process. Through my participation in More To Life and through my coaching I too am realizing my dreams. I'm releasing my creativity through art and home design, growing deeper and more meaningful relationships, creating success in business partnerships involving property development and investment, and living my own purpose: to be a light in the world, illuminating gratitude with my every breath.

My credentials as a coach have been honed by more than 17 years of serving on More To Life teams and helping to facilitate the process work of the Weekend. I use the processes regularly, and have had much success with the Results process, a key tool in coaching.
I have taken nearly every Focus Course we offer, as well as both WOWs and several Advanced Courses; I am a Power of Purpose Mentor, soon to be a Power of Connection Mentor, a Mastery Teacher and I serve as International Way of a Warrior Coordinator for More to Life. This role — in particular --has given me the precious opportunity to speak to a great many people about their purposes and dreams, and witness many of these coming to fruition.
I hold a BA in Humanities from the University of Alabama, and have had a varied working life, from Law Office Administrator, to Director of a Children’s Ministry to full-time Mom and International WOW Coordinator. These roles have contributed greatly to my ability to listen, to read between the lines, to facilitate visioning, and make appropriate recommendations.
I enjoy singing and listening to music, and I write poetry. I have published a number of non-fiction articles about parenting, adoption, lasting relationships and stewardship. I love the outdoors and go on hiking and camping expeditions with my husband, Paul, and our two daughters, Allison and Chanelle. I also have a big love of travel, much of it for service projects in Central America, and have enrolled my family members into enjoying this as well. We all enjoy the diversity of human life and the cultures that we encounter on our travels.
I have a calling to shine a light on the path for others. Whether or not you have a clear picture of your path, I believe that through discernment and purposeful action, each of us is capable of finding ours.
As a licensed More to Life Coach and Public Coach, my mission is to stand alongside and cheer you on in your next step and ask the questions that can help you choose the next step, and the next after that. I am an optimistic and straight-shooting coach. You can count on me to be 100% for you and to give you honest feedback at the same time.

I've always had a passion for personal growth and for one-on-one support. I see coaching as an opportunity to be fully heard and supported by a fellow human being, which allows us to deepen our understanding of who we really are. For me, a key to life is living in a way in which we"re being true to ourselves and our own essence. I hold this as a cornerstone, from which we get to create what we envision and experience fulfillment in our lives.
What I offer as a coach is genuine curiosity, sincerity, and the ability to listen for new possibilities. I'm also a persistent person and believe in straight talk and bold support. My vision is to act like a GPS — to show you where you are and help you get exactly where you want to go. My career for more than 25 years involved working as a Development Engineer and Account/Project Manager in the high-tech industry in the US and Sweden. One of my engineering managers brought in a coach to work with our team, and this turned out to be a life-altering event for me.
Our coach reflected back to me after a few sessions that although my openness, authenticity and eagerness to connect deeply with others were parts of my essence, these qualities weren"t necessarily shared by many of my engineering colleagues!
This came as both a relief and a shock to me. I had spent many years at my studies, getting a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Then, after winning a Fulbright Scholarship, I graduated with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Having someone acknowledge me in this way for my qualities as a person and not just as an engineer was a pivotal moment, and from that time forth I've been on an exciting path of continued learning and growth. Today I feel grateful for the many opportunities I've had to course-correct and to experience life more fully — both professionally and personally.
Some other things I enjoy include biking, kayaking, gardening and traveling with my husband, Evan, who first introduced me to the More To Life weekend in 2001. Since then we have taken many courses together and are also both Mentors for the Power of Purpose course.

'Trying to define yourself is like trying to bite your own teeth,' said Alan Watts. I believe that to move forward in life as fully as possible, engaged with life, some things require another set of eyes and ears to see and hear what is being expressed, with or without words.
Coaching is natural for me. Intuitive, insightful self-expression is one of my gifts. Being able to sense what is not being said as well as what is being expressed allows me to be fully engaged with Life, and helping others to put language on their deepest dreams and desires inspires me. It also works for others, as I have been using these skills (and others) for about 25 years.
My coaching focuses on you. In my sessions I ask a lot of questions. And I listen a lot. Have you yearned to have someone understand you? To witness you trying to bite your own teeth and provide straight, supportive, compassionate feedback about what they see and hear? To listen wholeheartedly to you and to reflect with you about the congruence of what you want? To help you get to the issues under the issues without a lot of fluff? To test an idea with someone who maintains confidentiality and cheers you on the path you create for yourself? To celebrate your successes and explore with you the resistance that comes up along the way?
Since March of 1984 I have used, taught, coached and facilitated others with the techniques presented in the More To Life Program. Not as a pastime, but as a way of life. I am a mentor for the Power of Self Esteem course with a full two-day license. I have taken most of the courses, played on many teams, held leadership positions in More To Life, taught Mastery classes and facilitated Enrichment Groups, and held leadership roles in some unique settings - as Training Supervisor for the first Way of a Warrior course in 1988, in two federal prisons in the United States, in business settings, and more.
I have been blessed with a career in philanthropy — helping others to make the world a better place through gifts of time, energy, and financial resources. I have taught and helped people to raise millions of dollars while working for or serving as volunteers and/or members of boards of directors for nonprofit organizations that make significant contributions to the planet. I also have a unique understanding of the stresses involved in that type of work, particularly when dealing with the emotions underlying such work.
One wise man, Richard Hebert, once asked me, 'What have been your greatest teachers?' I was surprised he didn"t use the word 'who.' What surprised me even more was when I replied, 'Love and loss.'
Change is something I'm working on myself these days. As of this writing, I'm dealing with the aftermath of losing mostly everything in my home after Hurricane Ike struck Galveston Island in Texas two month ago. I am using my own coach for support.
In the midst of change, I also see the blessings inherent in the devastation. I don"t know what will come of this, but my feet are on the ground, I feel safe, and my heart is eternally grateful for the global support provided through my affiliation with the More To Life Foundation. I can feel my teeth with my tongue, hear them clicking and clacking when I chew, and I'm aware that they"re there. Not bad for a beginning, huh?

Around the turn of the century, I was burned out. I had been working 120 hours a week for more than a year. I sold my business and "played," but that proved to be less rewarding than I had expected. Gradually I created a mixture of work and play that supports me to this day. Balancing editing and More To Life work are sailing (racing), singing in a choir which regularly performs complex musical works, being with my son and granddaughter, doing Jazzercise and Pilates, traveling, experiencing new cultures and languages, and playing piano 4-hands. On every birthday ending with a zero I set goals for the next 10 years. A year ago, I set the goal by 2017 of joining the crew of a tall ship for at least a 3-month cruise, and playing well all 24 of Brahms" Hungarian Dances for 4-hands.
I have been active with More To Life since 1985 and have taken every course (at least once). I have also played team roles on More To Life Weekends, Focus Courses and Advanced Courses in the US, UK, South Africa and New Zealand. Through my team experience I have been able to act as a resource to both newly emerging and established MTL communities, coaching team members in their roles. I use the MTL processes regularly and I enjoy facilitating others, while teaching the nuances of the processes so students can make them their own. Currently I am the More To Life Foundation"s International Database Coordinator.
I have degrees in English and Education, which helps me edit copy and proofread for authors around the world while coaching them to be the best writers they can be. I also have 22 years of experience in BioEnergetics. Bottom line: I love teaching and empowering others to create what they want for themselves. My greatest delight is to hear the insights and "aha" moments that my clients gain from our sessions. I get to learn too.

I believe I was born to be a More To Life Coach. During my life as a daughter, stepdaughter, wife, former wife, mother, and friend, I have been working on my coaching skills, talking with others, and discovering truths together which are essential for living more responsively and less reactively.
I have been supported to become more in my life by great teachers sharing their tools for living more compassionately and sustainably on this planet. As a world citizen, I am passionate about transforming and enhancing the quality of people"s lives and contributing to more connection and less separation.
I have an innate, nurtured, and practiced ability to listen to people and support them in seeing and hearing themselves.
I took the More To Life Weekend in 1995. In the years since, I have encouraged family and friends to participate in MTL Weekends and Focus Courses. I have taken Advanced Courses and participated on teams around the world.
My degree in Film, 15 years on a ranch in Montana , world travel and many contrasting experiences allow me to connect with people on many levels. I was instrumental in creating a Human Rights Film Festival in Bozeman, Montana. I now raise funds and awareness for a project in the Congo that focuses on building a sustainable community.
I am a mother of 2 children, a son, Peter, and daughter, Sage. I am involved fully in their lives and use the More To Life tools in raising them.
As a Coach I am now working with others who are learning to change their lives by integrating the tools into their daily lives. I want to make a difference in the world by supporting the growth of others as expressed on a MTL poster: 'Making a difference in yourself by making a difference in the world by making a difference in yourself by making a difference in the world...'

My day-job title is Freelance Producer/Technical Director in the Live Event industry, which involves team-building, crew and logistics management, handling client, crew and audience expectations. I worked my way up through the ranks from receptionist in 1990 to Producer and Technical Director in 1997. Since 2005 I've owned my own company, working on lighting tradeshows for Warner Brothers and LucasFilms, live broadcasts of educational programs for the Washington National Opera, and producing corporate training and incentive events for US and international corporations.
I'm also a skydiving instructor and coach, and work with competitive skydivers and their teams on the technical (and mental) games of formation skydiving. Together with my teammates I've earned medals in regional and national skydiving competitions. In 2004 I earned my skydiving instructor rating. Since then I have made more than 400 skydives with students. Teaching survival skills together with personal performance goals to novice skydivers is a true coaching challenge.
As a graduate of Coaching Essentials and the Power of Self Esteem Mentor program, I've also attended and teamed myriad More To Life courses, from the MTL Weekend to WoW2. My eyes were opened to a whole new world with the MTL work. Personal freedoms that I never thought possible are mine to use to create my life.
Many of my dreams are now everyday realities, and as Richard Bach wrote in his book Illusions: 'You are never given a dream without the ability to make it come true. You may, however, have to work for it.'

I found when I facilitated participants during courses for the More To Life program that I had a gift for it. I was able to support people to recognize and work through difficult and sometimes painful events in their lives and come through with freedom and clarity that they never envisioned for themselves. When the More To Life coaching program was being developed, I was excited about the opportunity to become certified as a coach and have the opportunity to work with more people one on one. At the time, I was a vice president at Citigroup, working as a technical analyst and project manager, and supervising a group of programmers. Then Citigroup did what many corporations are doing - they sent our jobs off-shore, and I really began thinking about doing in my life what I saw as a powerful calling.
Going through a corporate downsizing was not something with which I thought I'd ever have to contend, but what I learned as I worked through it expanded my insights into the things that challenge, motivate and de-motivate people. As a result of the life-altering change of a job loss, I was faced with a choice: invest my time and money in acquiring new technical skills, or put that energy into enhancing my technical, professional, and personal skills with coaching and professional development training. I've known the business side of the corporate world, and now I can combine that background with coaching to work with the human side of business and the personal side of performance, on the job and off.
I am most proud of my growing ability to say the tough things in a way that works and is hearable, and how I am willing to hang in during a difficult conversation and create a successful solution that"s respectful of everyone involved. I've stopped driving myself to cover all the bases, think of everything and support it all. I've made a productive and enjoyable shift that gives others room to step in.
My listening ability is strong - I hear what is said and pick up on what isn"t. I can reframe the challenge in a way that distills out what is holding someone back and links the strands together in a way that they"ve not seen before, allowing leaps to new understanding and behaviors. I've gained the ability to look at the big picture and see the interdependencies and pieces where incremental shifts can create big results.
I have a huge heart for people and enjoy working with others to see what is on offer. We can then translate it to other areas of their lives, compounding and expanding the change. The result is someone who is happier, more productive, able to participate more fully, more at ease with themselves, and more excited about what they are creating — proud of themselves and what they"ve done.

I have been a coach for many years starting with swimming coaching, followed by sub-aqua instruction and coaching, employee coaching (as a catering manager) then student coaching (as a management lecturer), and for the past ten years I have been coaching as a management development consultant, first in industry and latterly through my own business.
I first found my calling when these words came to me - 'I can hold the hand that wobbles just for the moment it is needed.' Later, a friend from New Zealand told me of the Maori proverb 'Maku Raepa': 'It is I, perhaps it is I, who will embrace you and assist you on the pathway of your growth. I will uphold you. Perhaps it is I.' This saying still inspires me. My aim is to assist you on your path, holding you, embracing you and walking alongside you - just for the time you need it.
I have had many wonderful clients, including CEOs, directors, managers, business owners and individuals who want to make a change in one or more aspects of their lives. Some come to me for a discrete number of sessions; others come like going to the gym - for regular mental maintenance. All make shifts in their understanding of the world and how they respond to it. And I hope all are coming to a happier and more content way of being. My Master"s was in Human Resource Development with a dissertation titled: 'Personal Performance Improvement of Managers: An "Inside-Out" Coaching Approach.' I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Management. and have practical and theoretical experience in learning, and in how people create change for themselves. As a trainer I specialise in personal development, effective leadership, behaviour change and 'soft skills' training.
I have been involved in the More To Life programme since my first course in 1993 and have since taken or teamed all the Focus and Advanced Courses. My current role is Evolution of Mastery Coordinator for the USA.
I see my forte as creating a connection that inspires trust, confidence and courage. This enables people to explore experiences, issues and fears that otherwise might remain hidden. From the foundation of deeply personal data and a caring environment, I seek to lead clients through a pragmatic exploration of the beliefs that may block their progress in contentment and happiness. I believe I can bring a significant depth of intuition, empathy and insight to help clients make especially rapid progress, allowing them to implement new behaviours in their lives and experience dramatic results in what may seem a very short time.
I live with my husband, Bob, and help look after his mother, along with our two Siamese cats, in Breezy Point, New York.

Mentoring, teaching and coaching are an integral part of my sacred path in life, and I have been engaged in these activities since high school more than 40 years ago, starting with the tutoring of fellow classmates.
While attending college and earning a degree in mathematics, I competed in and taught horseback riding. During graduate school I taught mathematics courses to a variety of students from high school to college to adult education. Later I used my knowledge of Judo (2nd-degree Black Belt) to train students, including coaching some for US national tournaments.
These days much of my mentoring and coaching is focused on leaders at work and in the More To Life community. I believe I bring to my coaching a talent for deep listening with an open heart, empathy and a keen sense of discernment. My highest goal is 'being at one, and passing it on.'
I was born in Budapest, Hungary under Communist rule, and lived through the Hungarian Revolution as a boy of 6. My family and I migrated to Israel when I was 7 years old and we lived there for five years. Then when I was 12 we moved to the USA and settled in New York City. Thus by age 13 I had experienced three totally different cultures.
These experiences developed in me an openness to and an appreciation of the infinite variety of people, beliefs and ways of life that exist, as well as a capacity for rapidly accepting 'what is,' and adapting to what life offers.
My business career began after graduate school when I joined industry as a mathematician and computer systems analyst. I worked my way into project management and then general management, getting some solid leadership training at General Electric. In 1990 I founded a company called Sentar, focusing on providing solutions for Network Centric Systems, where I have the title of Visionary.
I have been involved in the MTL program since 2002 and have taken most of its Advanced Courses. I have been on teams for MTL Weekends and Advanced Courses and have served on our local Steering Committee. As of April 2008 I have been a member of the More To Life Board of Directors, and am dedicated to bringing the vision of the More To Life program into the world.
I currently live in Huntsville with Karen, my wife of 25-plus years, and our two dogs. We enjoy traveling, skiing and scuba diving, though the dogs prefer just walking.

Sixteen years ago I discovered my passion for life through the More To Life Weekend, which not only started me on a path of self-discovery but enabled me to experience what living passionately is all about. Today I find it difficult even to remember the person I was before that revealing weekend.
Music has been my life"s focus for the last 45 years. I play clarinet and am still passionate about it after all this time. During my career as a band director and private clarinet instructor, I have taught more than 3,000 students throughout the Houston area. A recent highlight was having several of my clarinet students perform with their high school band in Carnegie Hall. That was a thrilling and rewarding experience for my students and for me.
Another passion has been redefining my body shape after losing 60 lbs. To accomplish that goal, I took up long-distance bike-riding, and four years ago began riding in the annual the Lone Star Chapter of the MS Society (Multiple Sclerosis) fundraiser from Houston to Austin, a distance of 160 miles. My first ride had a dual purpose: to support the MS Society and to culminate 10 months of physical therapy following a knee replacement.
Until I took the More To Life Weekend in 1992, I was in a rut. After the course my world expanded more than I ever dreamed possible. I cleaned up resentments with my family, I learned there was another world beyond my own narrow one, and I began traveling and enlarging my sphere of relationships to include more than just my working peers. I now have many friends on several continents, just a Skype away.
That weekend also led to my taking every other Focus and Advanced Course in the program, including serving on teams for almost all of these. I have been a member of the Houston Steering Committee, led Enrichment Groups, served in team roles, coordinated Houston"s Leadership Conferences, and am a Mentor for the Power of Self Esteem. I draw on my wide range of life experience to facilitate my coaching clients, while continuing to enrich my own life.
I really get the value of this work. I practice it with my aging parents, with my friends and family, with my music students. At this time I am particularly interested in working with people who took the Weekend several years ago and want to get reacquainted with the look and feel of More To Life as it is now.
I want to work with new students too. Bottom line: I want to share the incredible gifts that I've received. My commitment is to empower, inspire and guide others to discover their passions and purposefully create the results they want in their lives.

As a teacher and the oldest of seven siblings in a large Cajun family, I come with a broad background in family dynamics, both professionally and personally. I believe my joyful spirit encourages and empowers my coaching clients.
I have a Master"s degree in Special Education and graduate hours in counseling. Over the past 28 years I have taught hundreds of children ages 4-14 in both regular and special education classrooms. I have mentored parents and children on issues such as autism, alcoholism, mental/emotional health concerns, language barriers, immigration and resettlement issues, dyslexia, learning disabilities, and developmental difficulties.
I've been active in the More To Life community since 1997 and recently joined the Houston MTL Steering Committee in the role of Leadership Development. I have been Assistent Training Supervisor and Training Superisor for several MTL courses. Envisioning a creative way to renew the leadership initiative in Houston is a passion of mine. I am passionate about this work and want to help others discover and create their dreams.
I indulge my creative side with my jewelry business which specializes in custom design work. As an avid volunteer for the Houston International Festival, I interact with musicians and dancers from countries around the world. I also collect African musical instruments and artwork.
I live in League City, Texas, located between Houston and Galveston. I have learned some of my most profound life lessons through caring for a clinically depressed family member. I have lots of experience in living in the 'Don"t-Know'! More To Life has taught me that I can live in that space and still joyfully embrace each day.

I have been a More To Life student since 1982 and am a More To Life Coach and a Mentor, as well as a Senior Trainer. My work has included facilitating More To Life courses in the federal prison system, and I have been closely involved in the leadership of my local student community.
I was Associate Professor of Music at Sonoma State University for 23 years, and I continue to run my own sound studio, where I produce music albums, books on tape, sound tracks and commercials. My company has been nominated for two Grammy awards. I also brought out my own CD this year, New 2 the Brain.
I am happily married to my best friend, Lisa, and we are joyfully celebrating our new roles as grandparents. I enjoy road biking, racquetball, bodysurfing, and scuba-diving, and I have competed in three triathlons. Lisa and I own a tandem bicycle which we enjoy riding among the vineyards of Northern California.
I am inspired and humbled to work with people who want to grow and create meaningful results in their lives and the lives of others. That is why I am a Coach and Trainer. I bring my best to my clients because when they break through to new ways of being and creating results, I get to grow and re-ignite my own dreams and aspirations. It"s an awesome process!

I have been working to inspire corporations and leaders since 1984. I founded the Meta-Institute in North California in 1992 and led teams and executives from Chevron, Toyota, Bank of America, and Bechtel. Early in my career I worked for Time and Life magazines in Chicago and Amsterdam, winning awards and promotions. I then took a ten-year hiatus to become a singer and actor performing mostly in Chicago and New York, appearing in productions of Man of La Mancha, Camelot, Scaramouch and Tom Jones. I also won a place as lead singer for the New Christy Minstrels.
Educationally, I have been a student of the human psyche for the past three decades doing post-graduate work in Sports and Motivational Psychology, Organizational Engineering, NLP, Coaching and Hypnotherapy.
As a principal and co-founding partner of TriVergent International, I collaborated with Momentis UK and InterAction UK to facilitate major coaching projects for Unilever Corporation, working with executives and teams in eleven different countries over the last six years. I worked on a 3½-year coaching and training project for British Petroleum with Ann McMaster, my business partner, which received acclaim as a Best Practices model worldwide. I also worked recently with a financial services company in Europe, delivering leadership skills and training to their top 3,000 executives.
Presently I am working on coaching projects with Momentis UK and Unilever Corporation"s board of directors in the Caribbean, with Unilever in Mexico on a Women"s Empowerment program for 2009, and developing a multi-year program, once again for BP, this time in Canada. I aim to focus organizations on improving results-oriented behavior and their leaders" ability to motivate performance-related behavior for the employees, the teams and the company. My insight into people, my ability to listen and sustain the bigger vision, together with my sense of humor have made me a popular consultant, trainer, facilitator, Coach and speaker.

I have been a student with More To Life since 1986 and have participated extensively since then, both in our course work and in taking leadership roles. I currently serve on the Knoxville Steering Committee, and I am a Power of Purpose and Power of Self Esteem Mentor. I love working with people to help them achieve their best, and be their best while doing it.
My career has involved the ownership of various businesses, including an import/export firm, and I have also run several businesses for other people. I have had long and varied sales experience, including internet and television sales, and recently accepted a sales training position with InterAction in the UK. Training is my favorite activity!
Having travelled to more than 40 countries I am told that I can be fascinating to talk to, and I hope I am just as attentive as a listener. My goal as a Coach is that you know you are being heard, and that the outcome is to move the actions and issues in your life in the direction you most want.
I especially love to seek that perfect balance where you are able to take your personal challenges and use them to move both your projects and your personal development forward together.

I am a doctor in general practice, and have been a More To Life student since 1993. Over time I have developed an ability to distinguish true organic disease in my patients from the kind of suffering that is emotionally caused — so becoming a MTL Coach is something I have loved doing.
Since my original MTL Weekend I have been on many courses and played on many teams, including 10 WoW teams. All of this has provided an added edge to my trust and confidence in our work and in the possibility it creates in individuals" lives.
I am proud of the way my coaching clients have reported changes in their behaviour, sometimes after many months of inaction. One person who wanted to change his vocation was able, after four sessions, to express his wants to others about what he hopes to do in his work life, which had seemed impossible to him before. Another client focused on her fears about changing her home environment, getting to a new place after two sessions where she was trusting herself with what she wanted to do and with how she would relate to the workmen she was employing. Her feedback to me was that she had reached a place of feeling solid in herself, an experience she had rarely had before.
I care deeply about others, and about our world. I am committed to helping people make the changes they want to make in their lives, and to offering my energy and interactive skills to support them.

Since I took my More To Life Weekend in 1992, I have taken most of the MTL Focus Courses and five of the Advanced Courses. I am a Mentor for both the Power of Purpose and the Power of Self Esteem and I am a Mastery teacher. I have also been involved in the running of our organisation in the North of England, taking roles on training teams and in leadership support, including coaching Training Supervisors of More To Life Weekends and Mastery classes.
My initial career was as a textile artist working in a community setting. I taught tapestry weaving and facilitated groups to make large wall-hangings for use in their own shared environment. The More To Life programme awakened me to the possibility of using the art experience to pass on life lessons: noticing and self-observation, seeing mistakes as merely mis-takes. A cherished memory is of a child who, after weeks of reticence, came to me triumphantly to say: 'I made a mistake but I saw it!'
I began to understand that what I found most rewarding in my work was this kind of connection with others and the pleasure of seeing them achieve and grow. I became more interested in the people than in the pictures we were making! I also saw that I have a skill for facilitating and empowering people.
In 2005 I gained a Diploma in Life Coaching from Newcastle College and have been coaching with the techniques learned through that training ever since. About half of my clients have been MTL students, and I have always been glad to use the MTL processes they know with them. During the past few years I have also worked in the corporate world supporting a colleague with her own personal-development business, and this year I have been training some of these courses myself.
I have transformed my life and my lifestyle over the last 15 years, increasingly so in the last five, and I love bringing my learning to others, both in terms of More To Life insights and from my own experience. I am passionate about learning from the realities of life and working with what is. I am a down-to-earth person, I love my home, my garden and my partnership with my husband. I enjoy simple pleasures, like conversation and closeness with friends and family, walking in the hills and swimming in the sea.
What I love about both my training and my coaching is encouraging and facilitating people as they make the shift to clarity, but above all I love the animation and creativity that comes as they make new choices. It seems to me that the only sensible place to start is where we are!

I can look back on a 20-year career in marketing and general management and see the origin of my passion for leadership and coaching, having led multi-national, cross-country and cross-functional teams of up to 2000 people.
I believe that more balance and harmony is needed in the world, and that getting myself into balance was the place to start. A turning point for me was a leadership program eight years ago which involved coaching, and exposed me to Brad Brown"s work for the first time.
My pursuit of my own personal growth highlighted the values of commitment, contributing, taking responsibility and being authentic, so when the More To Life coaching program was launched I knew immediately that I wanted to be part of it. Today I feel blessed to be an MTL Coach.
In my private time I practice yoga and I am a certified yoga teacher, though I still see myself as a student. I also write poems, play the piano, paint, go to the gym and play golf.
Many things make an important contribution to my personal balance, including the gift of good friends all over the world, whom I treasure. I am part of a loving, loyal and close-knit family, and even though we might not always be on the same continent, we manage to see each other regularly.

I took the More To Life Weekend in 1999, and the experience changed my life. Since then I have taken most of the MTL Focus Courses, played on team numerous times, become a Power of Purpose Mentor, taught Mastery, and taken Advanced Courses in the USA and South Africa.
Through this work I have come to realise that to be at peace is to be in the present moment. I read a passage about this recently which you may find familiar: 'There are three words that convey the secret of the art of living, the secret of all success and happiness: "One with Life". Being one with life is being one with the Now. You realise that you don"t live your life, but life lives you. Life is the dancer, and you are the dance.
I have always been fascinated by all the different qualities that make us tick as unique individuals, and most of my career has been spent being of service to others in some shape or form.
For the last 17 years I have been an advisor in the financial services industry, and around 2004 I did a coaching course with the Coaching Academy. Afterwards I continued to coach the team of more than 50 bright individuals whom I was managing at the time, and most of them obtained promotion to fulfil whatever goal they were seeking.
However I found that I was working increasingly long hours in a demanding role that took up most of my energy, and I finally chose to take redundancy last year. I did not know what I was going to do, but I trusted life. I went to Coaching Essentials, not knowing if this was what I wanted to do, but by the end of the first day I knew it was a perfect fit.
I love working with and encouraging others to live their best life, and am aware that life continues to offer chances to learn more about myself as an individual, and the kind of life I want to create for myself and help those around me create for themselves. The last 29 years of my life have been lived in partnership with my husband, Edwin, and we have two children of whom I am immensely proud.

For the last 10 years I have been a Senior Trainer with More To Life, and have helped to lead many of the Advanced Courses in our programme. In addition I am a qualified counsellor, and have worked for many years as a personal coach in professional and personal performance coaching.
Between the ages of 22 and 28 I became the mother of four children and a foster child, so I became used to multi-tasking, mentoring, coaching and bringing human beings to their best self early on.
I am also a state-registered nurse, specialising in work with the terminally ill, and for 15 years I was the owner and manager of a residential home for adults with learning disabilities.
I think of myself as a pioneer, having sourced my own business and helped to establish the MTL programme in the North of England and in Germany. I have been a Black Belt Kung Fu instructor for 18 years, coaching children, women, and men, including the military, in physical agility and high performance.
My partner and I recently moved to a remote area in Northumberland in order to practice being still and at one with Nature. I meditate and practice Yoga and Pilates regularly.
I have a deep spirit that runs through my bones and I love life, early mornings, Nature, people and relationships of any kind. I look for the possibilities in life and I love its challenges.

When I finished my PhD in Physics at Cambridge University in 1999, I started to look back at my life and realised that academic study was not only just one part of me, it was not the part I was really passionate about. In fact, it was taking me away from what my passion has always been: creating communities and improving the interaction between people.
After completing my studies I believed I had no real choice about the job I had to do. To look for alternatives seemed a kind of failure, and so for a while it was difficult to find my life"s direction. I was not allowing my heart to work together with my mind and let them talk to me. After I moved to South Africa I took my first More To Life course in 2003. Then I took a part-time job as a researcher at the University of Cape Town, and became a Mentor for both The Power of Purpose and The Power of Self Esteem courses.
Today I live in Italy and run my own company, offering services for EU-funded development projects. I integrate the More To Life teaching into everything I do, including the parenting of my two wonderful daughters.
I am committed to supporting people to find the best of themselves and achieve the results that go with this. I use the More To Life tools in my coaching, together with my passion, my mind, my heart, my creativity, my intuition and all the teachings I have from life.
My aim is to help you find your own solutions and your own way in life. I will help you find your direction and clarify your intention to get the results you want so you can experience, day after day, how easy and fulfilling life can be if you follow your own heart, your own way.

I was born during an air raid in Liverpool and brought up amongst a large extended family. After many years in Essex with my husband Brian we have three adult sons with their own wives/partners, so there are several other branches of the family now. As Brian and I have also been foster parents I'd say that I've gained considerable experience of family dynamics and dramas (not least my own).
I have taken every MTL Advanced Course including the first WoW1 and WoW2 and the first Seven of Days Creation and Evolution of Mastery. I would think to myself sometimes that I couldn"t see how much more I could gain from these courses and of course there was always something deeper, more challenging, and more evoking for me to claim that freed me and supported my next step. Brad said that 'not one step in our growth is made alone,' and this is very true for me.
Brad was my Trainer on the first UK Power of Self Esteem Mentor training in 1987 and I took the first Power of Purpose Mentor training with him in 1992. Since then I have mentored more than 1400 students through these two courses. My classes are made up of people from many different backgrounds and walks of life including teachers, parents, students, medical & health care practitioners, people who are long-term unemployed as well as those who have experienced anxiety and depression, domestic violence, homophobic abuse and attacks, and some who were dealing with terminal illness.
I'm passionately interested in education and training. I worked for 16 years for Connexions in East London, working with young people designated as disadvantaged. I used the techniques I learned from MTL to enable them to challenge beliefs which held back their development and progress in life, and received an award for my work with them.
I am committed to improving the health of our communities. While bringing up my then-teenage sons I completed a Diploma of Higher Education and did a study of depression in women. I now work in partnership with the Counselling and Life Management (CALM) Centre in Harlow, Essex and we have secured funding in recent years to offer Self Esteem courses in our local community. I've established and support a thriving Mentor community who are moving mentoring and MTL work forward in interesting and inspiring ways.
I believe in community and in what we as individuals can bring forward when we work in partnership. I see what happens when we are real with ourselves and each other - what we achieve when we bring our best selves forward with confidence, knowing who we are.
I enjoy dancing and singing - I'm in a singing group. I practice Tai Chi and am an ardent fan of Law & Order and Columbo - I like the good guys to win!
As a MTL Coach I want to continue to empower others to create what really matters to them. As Brad wrote: 'I am present in everything that happens to me; remembering this can make all the difference.'

Coaching has always been something I've been drawn to although I didn"t always know that. For many years I was seeking to find my "way", my "calling", or even just find out what it might be. During my search I gained an MA in Economics and a Diploma in Acting. I took most of the More To Life Focus and Advanced Courses. I became a Power of Self Esteem and Power of Purpose Mentor and helped others to find their true sense of who they are and bring themselves more purposefully to life. I introduced More To Life to Ireland and recently helped to bring it to Germany. I worked as a professional actor and musician for 15 years. For the last 10 years as a trainer and business coach, I've used theatre-based techniques to help people build practical confidence in interpersonal skills and their personal impact.
Yet I had a sense there was more. It was working with a coach which crystallised what that is for me: In helping others find and claim their way, I am fulfilling my own. This is my calling, and I've been following it, in one way or another, for some time. Realising that, I am able to claim my path and plan my next steps with a deeper sense of purpose, and my eyes open to the opportunities ahead.
What I offer you as a More To Life Coach is the same: to help clarify through reflection, feedback and appropriate questions what it is that you are truly about and what you want to create, as well as be alongside you with practical steps and the support to help you turn your goals into reality.
I've coached people to ride a bike, find a partner, get a job, build a network to grow their business, change career, get fit, retire, process with confidence, even write a book. Whatever the goal, big or small, my clients have learned more about themselves and made a deeper connection with what"s really important to them. In other words, they have found more to life in many ways. I love coaching and practice it alongside my training in businesses and organisations. I live with Tal, my darling wife, who is also a More To Life Coach.

Throughout my life I've been encouraged, challenged, guided, taught, questioned and given free rein - immensely lucky in the coaching I've had. Especially at those times when I was stuck, frustrated or just plain unrealistic, people have championed me to find the watershed and create the change I was looking for.
My More To Life Weekend with Brad Brown and Sue Oldham was one such pivotal point. I saw for the first time what really great coaching could enable: full self-expression coupled with a selfless commitment to others, and a vision for the world. And I decided there and then that this was the path for me.
The road since has been full of surprises! First of all, there was an immediate and unexpected blossoming of relationship with our then-teenage children. There were pitfalls in changing my career from television and publishing. And there was hard work, powerful confrontation of my beliefs, and new personal connection — a paradoxical mix of light and shadow, pain and happiness, and a sustained sense of fulfilment.
In terms of formal coaching qualifications, I'd originally begun a 'spare time' career in counselling, being trained more than 30 years ago. Since then I've qualified in stress management, performance coaching, conflict management, Action Learning, and self-esteem training; and Art, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt techniques.
Thus the coaching I offer is varied: Psychologically grounded in cognitive/rational/emotive behavioural methods, I also work in physical, creative, artistic, spiritual and literary ways. Many of the leaders I coach are strikingly 'rounded' - so my coaching draws on multiple ways to breakthrough, whether in business or government, engineering or medicine, art, aid work or parenting.
There are many rewards of championing people. I love being part of the 'big journey,' in which we all respond to the encouragement, challenges, guidance, questions and freedoms of life itself. I find deep satisfaction in seeing the flowering of another human being and the fruition of human ambition, while honouring the limits that life itself sets. I love being with people as they grow in self-mastery. And I love the grace within change itself. This is a profound and privileged calling, and for all of this and more I am deeply grateful to Brad and Roy, my peers among the More To Life Trainers and at InterAction, to our More To Life community here in Scotland, to my co-coach Alison at GAIN, to my husband, Adrian, and our families, and to God.
My More To Life Weekend with Brad Brown and Sue Oldham was one such pivotal point. I saw for the first time what really great coaching could enable: full self-expression coupled with a selfless commitment to others, and a vision for the world. And I decided there and then that this was the path for me.

My passion is people development, in all its guises. I work as a Human Resources Consultant, MCIPD, with public and private sector businesses, and with individuals through my own consultancy, Emerging Potential Ltd.
In 2009 I complete a 4-year Masters Degree in Client Centred Psychotherapy, accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I work in the NHS in North Wales as a Psychotherapist in Training, which allows me to work with clients at a different end of the spectrum than my Coachees. The latter are often more focused on achieving a future goal than working through a childhood trauma, although many clients and Coachees invariably do both.
Following a divorce when my daughter, Hannah, was 6, and my son, Dominic, was 4, I raised my children mostly single-handedly, encountering burn-out in the process and developing a thyroid disorder, but I have now regained my equilibrium.
As part of getting my life back in balance I focused firstly on my emotional and spiritual well-being, and am now engaged in the challenge of my physical well-being, journeying towards my ideal weight, which seems the logical next step for me. It is time to let go of my weight and feel lighter in every way.
I am based in Warrington, Cheshire, and have run a number of personal-development workshops for groups, along with individual coaching. The small groups and one-to-one sessions have primarily been with women: women returning to the workforce after having raised children, women starting again after divorce, women setting up their own business, and women tackling weight loss through addressing their emotional eating habits.
I have also worked with young men in an open prison, and with unemployed youth, enabling them to develop their resources in order to get back into work.
I have been involved with More To Life since taking my weekend in April 2005, and have taken a number of Focus Courses and Advanced Courses. I am a qualified Power of Self Esteem Mentor.

What makes me a committed coach? Why do I still have clients turn to me for coaching in times of need, decades after we first worked together?
Maybe it is because I am fallibly human. For more than 20 years I have run a successful business as a counsellor, coach, facilitator and trainer of people from diverse backgrounds and organisations. In parallel, starting with my own Weekend in 1985, I have been instrumental in the creation of the More To Life community in the North of England. But more importantly I have learned the hard way through my mistakes, and been blessed to be surrounded by great teachers, especially my children.
I know what it is like to have those I love leave, dreams dashed, pretence publicly exposed, and to fail to achieve business goals. As a single parent I have dragged myself from the depths to engage with my children"s needs, and as a co-worker I have struggled to let go of my "right-ness" and frustration, holding my standards without demanding and judging. And through those experiences I've developed empathy, compassion, and realisations to share, and openness and honesty flourishes.
I also know the joy of being deeply and truly loved, to offer nurturing, unconditional love to many people, to build a community of committed and passionate volunteers, and a successful business out of nothing. More recently I witnessed the birth of my first grandchild and watched my daughter and husband love him and touch him and seemingly effortlessly tend to his needs. I am in awe.
I receive precious gifts when I am offered the privilege of time with another human being, no pretence. Then I am at my best; in the flow of life. Time stands still and the process of being together with a common goal takes over. And as the person in front of me sheds the fears that hold them back, and creates a vision of new possibilities, sits up straighter, breathes more freely, lightens and brightens and begin to commit to changes in attitude or behaviour, I relax and am grateful for all the forces and events that have brought me to this place of service.
I am passionate about human transformation, and the potential evolution of our world, one person at a time. And I am committed to bringing Brad"s work to the places and people I can access, looking outward into the world - a pathfinder and lighter of the way. I have been doing this as a Mentor for 20 years, and am honoured to be able to now do so as a More To Life Coach. I am also on the new UK board for the More To Life Foundation, am a Mastery teacher and have spent time as a Trainer Candidate. My latest venture has just begun as a columnist - bringing coaching to the public of Northern England.
This is my base and where my son lives, but I am expanding my business to Sydney, Australia where half of my family have settled. But distance is no object as I coach in person and by phone or Skype. And when I am not working, in England I can be found on my allotment or out on the hills, alone or with a friend or two, with the wind in my hair and the sun on my back, soaking in the simple glories of life. And in Australia, walking the bays of the peninsula where we live.

When I took the Power of Purpose in 1993 I had a big NO! when my underpinning purpose in my life was revealed as being a teacher. That was not what I was expecting, as I had a narrow view of myself as a teacher. I had worked in the state education system for 30 years, during which time I experienced many challenges in addition to the joy of watching children learn. Today I realise that at the heart of my teaching is a passion about wanting people to know the truth about themselves, so they can have faith in their own ability to create what they want in their lives.
I have played an active part in the More To Life community since I took my first MTL Weekend 15 years ago and I have played team roles on at least 50 Weekend courses as well as many Focus Courses. In 1994 I travelled to Cape Town to be on team for the second MTL Weekend in that city. The experience of being with team and participants for a whole weekend is powerful for me: it is where my heart is opened, where I get to connect with myself, others and life and feel my gratitude.
I took the first WoW in South Africa, and have taken most of the Advanced Courses in the programme. Along with this I am now a Mentor of the Power of Purpose and the Power of Self Esteem courses, which I have taught in schools to groups of teachers and teaching assistants.
In 2003 I took on the role of sourcing Mastery in the London community, and believe that the classs are the pearl in our training - the place where our students consolidate what they learn over the Weekend and bring it through into their lives.
Coaching is a natural step for me because of my on-going passion about the empowerment of people - adults as well as children. As a Coach I want to use all the skills I have developed, and continue growing and learning in the process. You will find me a good listener; I hear what you are saying and also what is going on underneath and beyond what you say. You can count on me to tune in, be bold and hold your feet to the fire.

Working primarily with the More To Life material, I have had the honour of supporting many team leaders in the London community, as well as working with individuals over an extended period and helping them to put effective and lasting changes in place. Many I have supported are now qualifying as MTL Coaches in their own right.
In addition to More To Life courses that I have taken for my own benefit, I have been an active team leader and member of more teams than I can remember. I am a Mentor for the Power of Self Esteem and Power of Purpose courses, as well as a Mastery Teacher. I am a proud father four times over and for the last 25 years I have run my own consultancy and computing business. I've held many roles in my working life: as a manager, consultant, author, correspondent, software programmer, simulations expert and aerobics instructor. I have also maintained diverse interests, including motor sports, theoretical physics and psychology.
My interest in personal growth in its various forms has evolved into a vital and growing passion over the past decade and today my aim is to continue deepening my understanding of life by playing a part in the growth of others. I love to experience the blossoming of hope, because in that moment I too experience a deeper knowing that connects me with life.
I want people to make profound progress when I coach them. I aim to provide the insight that helps them cut through to the core of an issue. In fact the experience I enjoy and treasure the most involves the moment when I am alongside someone as they open up to their potential. My goal for people is to get their true potential for change, and to make the kind of committed choices that offer life-changing possibilities.

Supporting people to be all they can be through talking with them is my absolute passion. To follow that passion I've become a More To Life Coach and I'm currently also a psychotherapist in training. I love coaching, creating life-changing results through my own skills, my clients" commitment and the powerful More To Life processes.
My clients tell me I make a big difference to them, and it"s a joy for me to do - listening out for the mindtalk, providing insight, knowing when to challenge and when to let my clients find their own way to the truth, not to mention witnessing the fundamental changes they are making in their lives.
I also love my current psychotherapy work with disadvantaged teenagers, for all its creativity and challenges, as well as those moments when I see in their faces that I am making a difference in a way nobody else does in their lives.
I bring to my coaching work a wealth of experience, not only through my therapy training but also through having been alongside people in their darkest moments as a Samaritan, and having supported students on numerous More To Life teams.
In the past I have worked with corporations to help them become environmentally and socially responsible, and I continue to work part-time in this field as a specialist copywriter and editor. In addition I am a freelance image consultant, advising individuals on how they present themselves, and building their self-confidence. I'm truly grateful for all I've received from More To Life, especially from processing regularly. I've also created space to give something back by sitting on the London Steering Committee.
I guess supporting myself to be all I can be is a passion of mine as well! I've made a lot of changes in the past few years and I love the life I've created for myself. Being at home most of the time is a gift - I get to heap love on my two cats, as well as spend more time with my family and friends.

Since 1986 I have participated in the More To Life programme in many ways, serving on the London Steering Committee, enrolling and coaching local leaders, acting as Training Supervisor for several Weekends, teaching Mastery, the Power of Purpose and the Power of Self Esteem and attending our Advanced Courses. I worked at the London Centre for almost a decade and particularly enjoyed my connection with those who called in to find out more about our courses.
I have a degree in French and Italian and am a fluent speaker of both languages. I am passionate about all things Italian, and travel to Italy often. I currently work as a Charity Secretary helping fund scholarships that enable young Italians to study English in the UK. This organisation was set up in gratitude by men who, like my father, managed to escape from prisoner of war camps in Italy during the Second World War. They were sheltered, fed and hidden by ordinary Italians at enormous risk, and I enjoy meeting the now-elderly former soldiers who support us, as well as the young Italians who come to London to study.
I am enthusiastic about the expansion of More To Life in Europe, and recently led a powerful weekend Self Esteem course for women in Monaco. A dream of mine is to teach a PoP or PoSE in Italian one day.
These experiences, combined with my background in language teaching, give me a keen interest in listening profoundly to others. I enjoy hearing what is unsaid (but present) in a conversation, as well as upholding and challenging people in a compassionate and loving way. I am committed to the experience of getting to know people at the deepest possible level, helping them channel their energy into creating a life they love.

Back in 2001 I was a skeptical participant in the More To Life Weekend, reflecting my skeptical participation in life at that time. A touchpaper was lit: new vision and passion for my life, for those I partner with and serve, and for life itself. The flames grow brighter each time I open to the events of my life.
It is amazing to reflect on the speed and ease with which I came home to myself and began to see More To Life as offering my true vocation. Until recently I was Director of the London Centre and am currently Chair of the London Steering Committee, a teacher of Mastery, a Power of Self Esteem and Power of Purpose Mentor, and a Trainer Candidate.
My professional background is in education and the arts. I am an experienced teacher, a trainer of teachers, and a professional coach with my own company, Conscious Change. Before starting at the London Centre I was Director of a charity that works with all of the UK"s museums.
Today I am infinitely grateful to be part of a thriving circle of friends, family and community, both in the UK and Italy. I have created some beautiful and sustaining home environments in both countries, and on my travels opera, visual art, and dance continue to thrill me.
My vision at this time is to work with leaders, with the goal of creating radical and effective social change in alignment with Life As It Is. My path has included so many people who have supported me along the way: others who have been "for" me, encouraged me, and challenged me. This is my inspiration as a Coach. It has been an experience of mutuality, reinforcing the knowledge of a kind of magic in relationships that allows each of us to become more of who we truly are.
I love to listen deeply to what people want for themselves and for the world. I love to draw out answers to the question "Yes, but how?". And I am ready to intervene when I see people getting in their own way. If you are someone who is seeking to realise your most cherished dreams, I would love to work alongside you.

One of my most vivid developmental moments happened at WoW I in 1999, when Brad stopped me and said, '...so Oenca, when will you start living your life 100%?'
Well, you can imagine, as an energetic, God-fearing and passionate woman who has a zest for life, I was taken aback, believing that I was already fully engaged in my life.
The next few months helped me to see that I really could experience a deeper, more meaningful and sustainable quality of life, once I sought and found a clear purpose for myself and made the decision to be the best that I can be.
My purpose is simply to serve people, supporting them to discover and become the very best of themselves, so that together we can make a difference to the lives of others and our world. Fortunately for me, using the More To Life tools in my own coaching practice is one of the ways that I am able to do this.
I live in the West Midlands and am married with two wonderful children. In my working life I run my own coaching and leadership development consultancy, and have extensive experience working with senior management in the public sector. Before starting to work independently I had more than 10 years" experience in the motor manufacturing industry with the support functions of finance, personnel and HR.
I would describe myself as a perceptive and straight-talking coach, facilitator and trainer, and my passion comes to life when I am able to work alongside others on their own developmental journey, supporting them to live at their best and experience life 100%.

Back in 2003 I was working in my own communications company, spending most days driven and stressed. Then, as Training Supervisor for The Power of Love, I discovered and untangled the cost of living my life this way. At the end of the course I chose to tell my former school sweetheart that I still loved him after 18 years, and the following year he proposed.
We found we both had a vision of creating a more community-centered life, growing our own vegetables, and with vocations we felt passionate about. So we left our jobs and moved from London to live by the sea. We are now married with a little boy whom we co-parent, and in many ways we are living the life we wanted.
I still have the skills I learned from studying Media & Communications at university and working for 12 years in the TV and film industry. Until recently I acted as Creative Director and a business consultant at my old business, producing programmes and worldwide events and was also responsible for new business and marketing. I held the vision for our clients, and organised large teams by empowering and supporting them to produce their best results.
Today I coach and train people individually as well as in groups, and I am an Associate with InterAction. I am also a Reiki Master, leading workshops where I teach people to heal themselves in profound ways by channelling vibrational energy and creating more peace with themselves. I love art, my friends, going to the gym, spending time with my husband and son, meditating, and practising Yoga. I am committed to living a sustainable lifestyle, both personally and professionally.
I have been active with More To Life since 2001, have taken half of the Advanced Courses so far and been on team for Focus Courses, Mentor Trainings and Advanced Courses in the UK and South Africa. I am a Power of Self Esteem Mentor and am committed to regular processing and playing an active part in keeping our programme developing and growing. A 5-year goal is to create a healing centre where I will teach and empower myself and others using a mixture of healing workshops and MTL tools to get in touch with the community spirit, raise individual and group consciousness, release automatic behaviours and end unnecessary suffering.

Since 1996, my experience of the More To Life programme has inspired me to support the awakening and development of others while also supporting my own spiritual growth. As a Power of Purpose and Power of Self Esteem Mentor and now also as a More To Life Coach, I have developed my skills in listening sensitively and deeply, gaining people"s trust to share with me intimately about their lives and experience.
I first became a certified Life Coach in 2005 and continue to be inspired by the willingness of my clients to trust me with the reality, richness and complexity of their lives. I am a member of the Association for Coaching and of the International Coaching Federation and espouse their ethical and professional standards of conduct. I am delighted to have a More To Life coaching structure.
My background is in business management in the service, manufacturing, and oil and gas industries, coaching people to define their purposes and achieve significant goals, providing placements for and mentoring students of business studies, and guiding people in career transition and career development. In other areas of my life, as a former yoga teacher, former counsellor, and currently as a parent, family member, business partner and mentor, I also encourage and coach people in creative expression, and personal and spiritual development.
I have taken most of the More To Life courses, including all of the Advanced Courses. I have served in many Leadership roles and on teams in the UK, and have chaired the Scottish Steering Group. In my current role as UK Enrolment Co-ordinator for Evolution of Mastery, I support people to claim personal mastery in their lives.
I live in Aberdeen, Scotland with Colin, my husband of 35 years. We have two adult children who are living successful, creative lives in Glasgow and London. In my leisure and re-creation time I enjoy walking, yoga, Pilates, drawing, painting, photography, reading, dancing and spending precious time with family and friends.
My aim in all my coaching is to help each person to see things from a new perspective, so that they can express the best of who they are as human beings, improve their relationships, enrich their lives, and expand their vision for what they can create and contribute in the world.

I enjoy group games and understand the dynamics of interaction, always interested in learning and development, including my own. Especially over the last 3 years, I have used the More To Life course work to overcome low confidence and a self-effacing attitude which stemmed from being bullied, originally being extremely shy from a young age. I am a patient listener and have excellent sensory acuity which makes coaching over the phone effective. I am outgoing, comfortable with being seen and heard, and confident speaking one-to-one and to large groups in an authentic and open-hearted way.
In 3 years I turned my own life around after setting goals at Way of a Warrior (WoW). I stepped through fear to find my calling as a Coach and Trainer, a natural progression which embodies my innate skills and who I essentially am. Realising I had outgrown my art-working career, I let go of my attachment to 15 years of valuable experience in packaging design (where everything eventually ends up in the bin no matter how good it looks!). This freed me to align with my purpose of working in a meaningful way, using my strengths to make a difference and benefit others.
What I offer in coaching is my insight to reveal your blind spots, which can open you to possibilities you hadn't seen before, empowering you to navigate your way to new behaviours. Your achieving your results and fulfilling your potential gives me a lot of pleasure. I am quick to notice and facilitate ways for you to step out of old patterns and replace them with attractive new ways of being, using my intuition to hear what is not being said. I am empathic and deeply sensitive, instinctively knowing when bold support is called for to encourage your growth. I'm nurturing, passionate about seeing people progress, and a supporter of living life fully.
I grew up in Glasgow and moved to Leeds when I was 30, establishing networks in challenging circumstances. I worked in Manchester for 7 years before returning to Leeds to live with my partner, Will. We plan to marry and start a family in the near future after we relocate to London. Having been a competitive archer and medal winner for a number of years, I now enjoy hill walking, dancing and Sudoku.
My experience expands beyond coaching to include teaching The Power of Self Esteem and The Power of Purpose courses. Another source of great learning has been serving on team, from holding enrolment roles, leadership roles and playing on WoW team to Training Supervisor for a More To Life Weekend. One of my career goals is to become a Senior Trainer, and I am already on that path as a recognised Trainer Striker within MTL.

Coaching invites me to do what I love best: deeply connect with another human being and facilitate their own discovery of more of themselves. My goal is to help that person attain what they really want, and more.
As a versatile and creative individual, I've had a varied career spanning 4 continents, including 7 years as a political journalist and copywriter. I have a post-grad diploma in copywriting and marketing, and have worked as a human development consultant and trainer for some large financial companies.
In the last 14 years I have run my own private practice as a Kinesiologist, Reiki Master, Reflexologist and massage therapist, also teaching courses in these areas. I see my More To Life coaching is a natural addition to my one-to-one portfolio.
I also offer coaching on the phone, so I can work with you wherever we are.
I've been involved wthe Power of Self Esteem and Power of Purpose, as well as participating in many Advanced Courses. I have coached people to make significant change and achieve specific results in areas as diverse as healing a marriage, finding a partner, planning a wedding, changing jobs, losing weight, career development, self-esteem and self-confidence, spiritual fulfilment, leadership, moving countries and making money.
I look forward to coaching you to discover and achieve your deepest wants and highest purposes. My coaching style is straight forward. I am passionate, bold and gentle. I get a sense of what is needed and what is not being noticed, and I trust that. By coaching others I gain depth and perspective about myself and life, and coach my clients to do the same. My coaching is an empowering process in which we both grow, with the focus is on your discovering and achieving more for yourself. I am married to fellow MTL Coach, David, and enjoy sharing a deeply committed relationship. I enjoy using Skype to connect with my family overseas and many friends around the world. I'm also passionate about nutritious cooking, living a healthy lifestyle, caring for our environment, and dancing.

My vision is that we, as fellow human beings, can live together, respecting, accepting and learning from each other, even though we have differences that could potentially separate us.
We all have goals we want to achieve, we have ideals of how we would like our lives to be and ideas of how we want to be in our lives. For me the challenge is to merge these and find happiness and joy through this merging, and let that bubble over and touch those around us. Leadership shows through the person we are, not the position we hold. I feel inspired how people from all over the world, with diverse backgrounds, can come together, share a vision and create action plans purposefully, held by respecting each other's humanity. It is made possible by this incredible work.
I offer coaching to support you in setting goals and achieving them in ways that will enhance your quality and experience of life.

Several years ago, after a very busy time with no limits in place, I had the opportunity of going to Zanzibar for a break. After one day there I felt a palpably different body experience - I felt clearer, calmer, and more energetic. While I acknowledged that life isn"t about being on a beach in Zanzibar, I started to look at what I could incorporate into my life that would yield similar feelings. I'm thrilled at the balance that I have created since then. Today I make art, travel, have time for family and friends, and many other interests as well.
I see it as part of my life"s purpose to be a facilitator of healing and change using various modalities. As a practicing physiotherapist I have, in a sense, been coaching in an informal way for a long time. What is different today is that I am free of my pleasing, fixing and rescuing dramas. I am working from my compassionate core, and enjoying what I do. I have love, for-ness and passion for humanity. I believe in the process, in the power and possibility of people creating real results in their lives through the magical interplay of mind, body and spirit.
Over the past 25 years I have seen this play out in my own life through many experiences that required me to open to receiving support and feedback, and have been lucky to be guided by people with wisdom and love - creating some of what I have wanted, missing some, still willing to go for more. I'm particularly grateful for my 11 years of practice with the More To Life programme, which has contributed to my growth in a big way. It has been a rich experience for me, from doing Advanced Courses to Mentoring and facilitating Mastery classes. Coaching with the More To Life technology challenges and inspires me. I look forward to partnering with and empowering more and more people on their growth path in the future.

One of the reasons I love coaching is the inspiration I receive by guiding others to achieve their goals. I graduated from university with an Honors degree in Drama, and joined a recruitment company as a consultant with the role of sourcing, selecting and placing people in careers of their choice. This was the beginning of my journey of supporting others to achieve their chosen result.
I have worked in this results-focused business since 1987. As Managing Director of the Cape Division I now guide the business and my team to create daily, weekly, monthly & annual results while also being involved in developing business strategies for the brand. I am therefore familiar with challenges both at the corporate/business level and that of the individual.
I have however had many experiences of achieving results at a cost to myself or others. I am drawing closer to integrating achieving of results with purpose and clarity, creating results which germinate from natural harmony rather than driveness. My experience within the MTL programme began in 1996. Since then I have completed WoW1, Sexuality, Lighting the Fire Within, Opening The Heart and more recently, Evolution of Mastery , Seven Days of Creation and Sixth Sense.
Some of my passions include travel, cooking, theatre, film, music and photography. I enjoy the challenge of learning something new and took up the martial art of Kick Boxing. More recently I am learning to speak Italian and to play piano. I have a keen sense of humor and having a good laugh is a practice I recommend.
I also love spending time with my partner who is passionate about taking care of our precious planet. Our best times together are when we are hiking in the mountains and forests and taking long walks on the beach – when we are in nature we are at peace and I get a sense of how nature encourages us to slow down and take care of the detail while being part of whole.
This is something I encourage in the coaching process – slowing down and taking care of the detail, so that the whole of you functions in natural harmony.

In 1997 I attended Way of a Warrior, the first Advanced Course on the More To Life program and Brad Brown (the programme"s co-founder) asked me, 'Are you a preacher?' This question left me speechless as I was then about as far from being a preacher as anyone could imagine. I am a graduate in Civil Engineering and was then a researcher-in-training. Through the next 10 years this question played at the back of my mind, refusing to go away. Eventually, through reading, therapy and More To Life courses I came to realise what I am about.
I am passionate about practicing my life in a way which really fits with my deepest values, and about facilitating that fit in others. As I do this more in my own life it"s like coming home - warm, secure, joyful and fulfilling. When I facilitate home-comings for others I am who I truly am - not a preacher, but a guide. I have found that More To Life tools and the coaching practice are powerful for fitting life-practice with the life-values which matter. My "day-job" is a PhD student in the sociology of transport planning where I look at values and practice on a bigger scale! I am also wife to Rob and have two very special children. I love to run, especially in view of the mountain, and to spend time with my amazing friends.

My vision is working with business leaders in order to contribute to the creation of a sustainable world through transforming the impact of business on people, society and the environment. People describe me as ‘passionate, involved and engaged’. My chosen focus is on unlocking personal vision and working in partnership with clients to help them remove the blocks to achieving their vision and their greatest potential, while they live authentic, inspired and purposeful lives. It is particularly fulfilling for me to be a part of facilitating deep realisations and shifts in my clients.
I have a "stay in school" philosophy which means I continue to engage in personal transformation and training in business, coaching and mentoring, even after more than 30 years in business and 25 years in senior positions in a range of business sectors. I completed my More To Life weekend in 2004 and attend More To Life Focus Courses and Advanced Courses annually. Currently I am on the International More To Life Coaching Advisory Panel.
In addition to being a business analyst, strategist and certified business coach, I am a trained facilitator and mentor running my own business, Chrysalis Strategies. I have been a member of COMENSA (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa) since its inception in 2005. My skills include strategy formulation and implementation, leadership development, marketing, executive coaching and mentoring.
My close relationships with my family and friends are important to me, and I value the role I play in coaching and mentoring young adults. My interests include the functioning of the brain, spending time in nature, organic gardening, yoga and chi kung. It is important for me to live a life where I tread lightly on the earth.

I have a vision of living in a connected society where people have access to their full potential and power and use it to connect with themselves, others and their environment with integrity and honesty. A society where no-one is more or less important than others, and we acknowledge that we have an impact on one another. My life purpose is to play my part in the development of such a society.
I did my More To Life Weekend in 2004 and have been an active member of the community in Cape Town and South Africa since. I have been part of an Enrichment group, attended numerous Mastery courses, Way of a Warrior and have played on many teams, where I have filled different roles including Hospitality, Process Facilitation, Timekeeper and Trainer Support.
I am a licenced and practicing More To Life Coach, and have supported people to reach various goals, from writing a book, changing jobs, entering into and improving relationships, and fulfilling a dream of going overseas.
In the near future I am about to embark on a career in environmental work as a social development consultant. Part of my role will include stakeholder engagement around issues of climate change and the socio-economic impact this has on the communities we are engaging with. Currently, I work in the field of reconciliation as a Diversity Facilitator in Local Government in Cape Town. The workshops we hold with staff focus on finding value in our differences, tackling issues like racism and sexism, and exploring our different cultures. Participants are encouraged to work at a personal level, to acknowledge and then work on their own prejudices and stereotypes. I also have a background in Community Development.
I volunteer as a Mentor in the Mandela Rhodes Scholarships Programme, and have found this to be a valuable learning experience. I love being outdoors and am blessed to live close to the mountain and the sea and am therefore able to spend lots of time on and around both. I enjoy practicing yoga, reading and love many kinds of music (and can"t help dancing to most). I have a sister in Johannesburg who has three precious daughters, a sister and brother in the UK, and love visiting my father"s family in Greece every few years.

I have been a student of personal development, spiritual wisdom and mystical tradtions for more than 35 years. My purpose in life - the one which I am most passionate about - is to contribute to the evolution of the world by facilitating positive change and personal growth in others while in the process of transforming my own self.
My work with the More To Life program began in 1999, and has included several Advanced Courses and many leadership roles. I also frequently conduct group workshops on the Power of Purpose and the Power of Self Esteem as a licensed Mentor of the More To Life program.
Through applying the More To Life skills in my own life, my creative talents and my passion for 'applied spirituality' have manifested themselves in powerful ways. I am a performing musician and songwriter and have produced two albums of my own compositions. I am also an entrepreneur and part-time graphic designer. I am married to Miriam - a gifted artist and art therapist - and am the father of six children.
In my work as an EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Therapist I apply my integrated knowledge of the More To Life processes. This empowers me to facilitate people through deep inner transformation and healing.
As a More To Life Coach I support individuals to proactively create the results they really want in their life. I do this by helping them to awaken to what holds them back and to claim and own their authentic selves.
On a personal level, coaching others offers me profound learnings about myself and magically dissipates my existential aloneness. I get to see myself in the pain, the challenges and the triumphs of others. As a result I open up more to the truth of our interconnectedness, and my life expands. I feel awe and gratitude for the privilege I have in this work to practise my life purpose.

I have taken, as my own personal vision, the goal of using my life to facilitate human beings to be the best they can be, so they make a difference with their own lives and empower others to do likewise, while helping to build a truly interconnected world.
Among the positions and roles I have played in support of this vision, I have served as a high school teacher, a high school principal, a social worker, a university lecturer, and for 16 years I was Professor of Education at the University of Zululand.
Recently I have been developing and managing the Scholarship Programme at the Mandela Rhodes Foundation in Cape Town. As Scholarships Manager I have been able to make a contribution to an important resource for leadership development in South Africa, in part by including a focused mentoring component which is developed around each scholar. This allows me to do what I enjoy most: partnering with students and other educators in pursuit of action in community development.
I am the author of several articles on applied research in education including subjects such as the parent/teacher relationship, teacher participation and communication in the classroom, and papers for a number of international conferences on educational subjects such as leadership in the community and gender equality. I have published two books, on Conflict Resolution and Leadership in Schools.
I have also been an active leader of the More To Life community in Durban since the programme started there. I am a Power of Self Esteem Mentor and also served on the More To Life Board of Directors for a number of years. I like to live in line with a vision which supports holistic development, mindfulness and interconnectedness and which allows me to enjoy and grow myself. This leads me to various enjoyable activities, including walking, playing with children and looking at people"s eyes.

I am a senior strategic planner and management consultant, with 14 years" analytical and transformational experience in private and public sectors. As a political activist I was involved in social and personal change during the apartheid years and spent time in detention during the 1985 state of emergency. Since then I have worked for the United Nations and helped to write the first transformation plan for the South African Parliament after the transition to democracy.
I originally trained as an architect, and was the co-founder of a leading NGO focussing on urban development and housing. I hold an MSc from the University of London and an MBA from the University of Warwick.
As an innovative business and social entrepreneur I spearheaded the establishment of the Association for the Study of Peak Oil in South Africa based on my research into peak oil and climate change. I have written for a number of national and international publications on these issues. As a committed team leader I aim for a high level of professional integrity. I have been involved with the More To Life programme for the past 13 years and have sat on the Board of the More To Life Foundation.
I see myself as a big picture person committed to sustainable development, which means that we must examine our current lifestyles and begin to make choices oriented towards reducing our carbon footprints. Since doing this will require us to live in new ways with new sets of relationships with others, I see the More To Life coaching programme as having a vital role to play in our future.

As I sat in my chair on my More To Life Weekend, watching Ann Mc with awe, I knew that what I wanted in my heart of hearts was to train and to be a part of this work. It"s been an amazing journey since that Weekend in 1994, a journey in which the program has been an integral part.
Since then, facilitating others to find their truth has been a way of life for me and a part of every job I have done, from being an analyst developer for a JSE company, to managing a family business in transport and construction with my brothers. This got to the point where people were asking if my qualifications (BSc in Information Systems and Psychology) included a counseling component, followed by the comment that counseling ought to be more of what I do.
So becoming a More To Life Coach is a natural fit for me and a culmination of life experiences that have offered me opportunities to grow in many ways. In particular I think of my roles as Mentor and Coach, as a businesswoman, friend, daughter, sister, and most of all as mother to my grown-up son, Jiren (I have been married for 11 years and divorced for 11 years). I also love reading, martial arts (I am a karate practitioner), as well as movies, music, and dancing.
My MTL experience ranges from taking most of the Focus Courses and all of the Advanced Courses in SA, to a series of team roles including Team Coach, acting as Durban Steering Group Chair, serving on the SA Centre Support Team and becoming a Trainer Candidate this year. I'm also a Power of Purpose and Power of Self Esteem Mentor and a Partner Mentor with the Mandela Rhodes Foundation.
To walk alongside individuals in their quest for finding their best and being their best is an undeniable vocation. I love to help people meet life with increasing openness, to develop themselves and uncover and live their deepest calling whilst pursuing my own. It"s a home-coming for me to be a part of a vision that is about 'claiming our part in shaping an inheritable world where being loving, authentic and human are the highest aspirations...' Those words move me each time I read them.
My current purpose is to live life purposefully and joyfully, going beyond the shackles of my mind in pursuit of excellence, within the limits of my own humanity. I want to be loving, honouring and respecting of others and myself. I want to live my life with increasing gratitude and fulfillment.
I also wholeheartedly embrace Marianne Williamson"s words: 'Personal transformation can and does have global effects. As we go, so goes the world, for the world is us.'

I have been involved with More To Life since I helped source this programme in Durban 18 years ago. I have been a key player in our local community and set up the first WoW in South Africa. Today I am a Mentor of the Power of Self Esteem and the Power of Purpose, as well Coordinator for WoW and SA Advanced Courses.
My professional background began with a History BA and a Diploma in Education, and I taught in schools for many years. I also have a Diploma in Counselling, and spent 13 years counselling for South Africa"s LifeLine telephone counselling service. I have also studied, taught and produced ceramics, distributing my products through my own company.
I have always been passionate about all that is on offer through More To Life, and I see coaching as another opportunity to be proactive in helping people to be their best and create the results they most want in their lives. Being a MTL coach is a challenge, a privilege and an inspiration. I still live in Durban and have 3 grown children: Matthew, Leanne and Rick.

Discovering the More To Life programme in 1996 was like coming home for me. Since then I have run at least 3 Power of Self Esteem and Power of Purpose courses every year, taught Mastery and served on the local steering group, and in 2006 I sourced a special More To Life Weekend for 30 Orthodox rabbis.
My husband Ron and I lead an Orthodox Jewish community of 50 families from our home in Johannesburg. As a mother of 7 children and grandmother of 2, I find my skills invaluable in serving my community and supporting individuals with personal and family issues.
I have a background in Speech and Hearing Therapy and have maintained two practices supporting children in this field for the past 10 years. I employ therapists, guiding and nurturing them along the way. In 2003 I began to study Logotherapy, Viktor Frankl"s approach to counselling, which aims to help people heal through finding meaning in their lives. (You may know that Viktor Frankl supervised Brad Brown, MTL"s co-founder, during the writing of his doctoral dissertation.) I became a Diplomate Clinician in Logotherapy, and since 2005 I have been a trainer of the Advanced Student"s Program at Unisa Applied Centre of Psychology as well as a Board member of the Viktor Frankl Institute of South Africa.
I love to develop and run workshops bringing Logotherapy and More To Life practices to various groups and organisations in our community. I am passionate about helping people tap into their nobility of spirit and live their lives with a deep sense of meaning and purpose. More To Life coaching is allowing me to facilitate personal transformation in a professional way and answers my own personal call to meaning in my life."

I am a professional group facilitator, trainer and instructor and I am committed to the social and spiritual transformation of the world. I started my academic life as a student of electrical engineering, then worked in training part-time, and fell in love with human and social sciences. Through this I came to study sociology and became involved with youth work field training in personal development, character-building, social development, and family reunification.
In this way I have been able to walk alongside people from many different areas of life, from street children and people living with HIV/AIDS, to corporate groups in the business sector.
I became a More To Life student in 2004, and since then I have participated in a series of MTL Advanced Courses. In 2006 I established my own training consultancy. Our work includes team-building projects, youth leadership and empowerment, motivational talks, seminars and mentoring.
Today I write and give talks which touch the lives of women and youth in business, helping them to create their visions and their dreams and make them a reality.
I am passionate about generating meaningful connections, healthy relationships, and supporting the realisation of each individual"s purpose in life through the creation of significant goals and results.
Personal growth and transformation are close to my heart. My vision is of the unity of our world, with people"s unique strengths combining to create harmony, stability and peace.

Imagine the day when we freely coach one another to be all that we can be…… as part of our social fabric. It comes naturally; we evolve. This is part of my vision as a coach.
I had some poor careers advice as a teenager at school in the 70s. I was ‘corralled’ into the sciences when in fact the arts were where my forte lay. It took me many years to realize this and often along the way I thought that I lacked intelligence and creative skill. Quite possibly, however, my engaging with these challenges led me to the More To Life program and gave me a degree of empathy and understanding, a well roundedness, and especially a want to empower others so that it doesn’t take them years to realize themselves and their dreams.
I have a varied background with many interests. These include a degree in Horticultural Science, Post-Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture, and Certificates in Permaculture Design. Whilst not directly linked to Life Coaching, the experiences gained from working in a government department and running my own business for over 20 years, taught me many life skills, particularly how important relationships and communication are to the success of a project.
As an asthmatic most of my life, an holistic approach to health matters deeply to me. Indirectly it led me to become an aerobic instructor for a number of years and currently a Community Coach for Sport Waikato. After 35 years of needing medication, I now manage my asthma with none, as a result of learning a breathing technique six years ago.
I have taught classes in landscape design and on ‘Learning How to Learn’. I am an unfulfilled musician, having played for 7 years in an amateur swing jazz band and have an ambition to play the saxophone well enough to busk with a friend. I love dance. Art is another realm I wish to explore and I love tramping and being near the sea in our beautiful country.
Best of all I am a mother of two gorgeous teenage daughters who challenge me daily to practice this work on me and on them…...Coaching.
More To Life has been part of my life for more than 15 years now, from attending my first Self Esteem course in 1993 to being inspired to become a Power of Self Esteem and Power of Purpose Mentor and now Coach in 2009. Along the way I have attended many focus and some advanced courses in the US and New Zealand. I love the transformation I see in my life through using the More To Life tools. The courses are experiential and what worked for me was the encouragement and support given to use the practices regularly afterwards ….the work sinks in. I have gained a community of life long friends around the world with whom I have a far deeper relationship than I believe would have been possible without this work. Now, coaching seems the perfect way to pass this work on.

I discovered the More To Life work after my colleague at a multinational company took the Weekend. In just a few weeks he went from, being the typical competitive and stressed executive to a much happier and nicer person, and a good companion.
I took my MTL Weekend in 2002 and came back very impressed, not only by the simplicity and the profound impact of the learning on me, but by the quality of people l met. People committed to their own lives, who were there to learn more and to stretch themselves to be free of their own imposed limits, to be free of their reactive minds.
At that moment, l decided to complete my MBA and Master’s degree in Psychology to expand this work, so l became a Mentor to teach The Power of Self Esteem, The Power of Purpose and The Power of Connection. I teach these courses in both English and Spanish.
From my experience as a business executive for 20 years as well as my coaching practice with other executives, l have learnt how much this work can bring to the business context. I enjoy working with executives in search of a better life, both professionally and personally.
Ultimately l became a Coach to help to make possible my own vision; that is, to expand this work into the Spanish-Speaking countries and bring the MTL Weekend in the near future to where I live: Spain. Of course, in Spanish!

My journey as a More To Life coach began when I took the Power of Self Esteem course in 1999. I was astounded to discover I had been living my life based on a carefully woven web of beliefs, often created by my own fears and insecurities. After a year, I re-took that course and a week later became a Mentor. In 2000, my husband Peter and I took the More To Life Weekend. The techniques we learned made a huge difference to our marriage as we dealt with Peter’s chronic fatigue and its triggers. Many courses and a lot of learning later, I found the Power of Purpose mentor course. I completed that mentor training in 2004 and knew I had come home to myself.
For me, coaching is about partnership. It is a way you can focus on limiting behaviours that stop you being the way you want to be in your life, and be unconditionally and boldly supported to get through the tough parts. Coaching is a way of calling on another’s light so that together we see possibilities on our own paths we never knew were possible. I am filled up deep inside when I walk beside my coachee, supporting them with my energy and focus.
A little more about me: I live with Peter on our beef and sheep farm south of Tauranga with our two teens and our preschooler. I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Microbiology and I worked in the Dairy Industry as a Food Microbiologist. I created my own quilt and needlecraft business, which I sold eight years later. I am a Trustee on the Otanewainuku Kiwi Trust which looks after our endangered species locally. My passions include photography, thermettes and growing old varieties of fruit. I have been involved in many roles that support the New Zealand Kairos community, including editing our newsletter (Update), mentoring courses, being part of the NZ Executive Council and creating our NZ website. Life’s full and rich, and I am steering my own boat. What an amazing journey so far!

My growing involvement with the local and global More To Life community and my new vocation as a MTL Coach spring from areas of purpose which are most meaningful to me: to uphold and to be alongside, to participate and to enjoy, to grow and to learn. In my experience so far as a Coach I am humbly conscious that accessing my willingness and love opens a space to those I seek to support that is far more powerful than anything I can draw on from my personal store of knowledge or skill. It is my aim to continue growing that part of my being – that which is loving, faithful and hopeful – and to offer the best of that being to all those among whom I work and live.
A deep love and commitment to learning about human societies and psyches is the reason I left secure career paths in medicine and foreign affairs to train as a secondary school teacher of English literature and history, and then to study for and obtain a PhD qualification in social and economic history from the University of Edinburgh. My other deep passion and source of satisfaction – my first and primary purpose indeed – is to be a nurturer, to support and to be among family, friends and community. As a new mother in the 1990s, I enjoyed fellowship and work in various communities – among my colleagues and students at Victoria University of Wellington; in Seattle, Washington; Glasgow, Scotland; and in Israel and Palestine where my husband and best friend, Jim Stewart, worked for a year as an eye specialist serving Palestinian communities in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. The second of our two beloved daughters was born in Bethlehem in 1994.
I took the More To Life Weekend in October 2000, around the same time as returning to the university world as a lecturer in history, now at the University of Waikato, here in Hamilton, New Zealand. From that first acquaintance with the MTL Programme, both the content and the experiential learning style of the course work fascinated me, influencing the methods of my teaching and reinforcing the universalistic and humanist quality and appeal of my historical and biographical research and writing. I use the MTL processes to become more adept at seeing and acknowledging the true qualities of my students and colleagues, and from that foundation to create a strong atmosphere of mutual trust from which I am able to effectively challenge and at the same time uphold and support. I am drawn particularly to the task of supervising and coaching postgraduate students as they plan, research and write theses for higher degrees. This aspect of my work is congruent with my strong motivation to become a MTL Coach.
Right now, words of counsel from Mahatma Gandhi resonate strongly with me: “Live as if you were to die tomorrow; learn as if you were to live forever.” These words encapsulate ways of being I seek for myself and which I seek to bring to my being and doing as a More To Life Coach.

I am a qualified a physiotherapist and worked mostly in the area of sports injury rehabilitation.
I have recently made a career change and completed a Degree in Media Arts with a First Class Honours. I am now working as a fine artist in Hamilton, New Zealand.
As a physiotherapist I worked mainly in the area of sport rehabilitation.
I am married with three teenage children and have been involved in their sports teams both as a coach and manager. I am currently managing my daughter’s regional level netball team.
In 1992 became involved in the More To Life programme where I supported the establishment of the programme in New Zealand working on the executive and administrative bodies. I have attended most of the focus courses and advanced trainings including the Power of Self Esteem and Power of Purpose mentor trainings. I regularly participate on team in New Zealand and America.
I have made a career change to become a fine artist having recently graduated with a Degree in Media Arts with a First Class Honours. I currently work as an exhibiting Fine artist here in Hamilton, New Zealand.
One of my greatest joys in life is upholding someone as they develop potential and fulfill their dreams. I have stood alongside others in roles as a physiotherapist, a wife and mother in raising three gorgeous teenage children, and now as an exhibiting artist here in Hamilton, New Zealand.
My role as a More To Life Coach began with my involvement with the MTL Programme in 1992. I used the tools of the programme to identify my ability to engage with life in a powerful and creative way. I have taken most of the focus and advanced courses, as well as the Power of Self-esteem and the Power of Purpose mentor trainings. For ten years, I supported the programme at the administrative level while helping to establish the MTL community in Hamilton. When I participate on team I use my organizational ability and skills to empower others in their roles. As a trainer striker for MTL, I step into roles involving group facilitation.
A few years ago, I took my first steps towards fulfilling an enduring dream to become an artist. Recently I completed full-time study and achieved a Bachelor of Media Arts with a First Class Honours. I understand the journey involved in following a dream and making a career change and I bring this understanding into my role as a Coach. Other strengths include the ability to connect with the beauty and potential I see in others, supporting my clients to identify what gets in their way of developing that potential and inspiring them to take those important next steps on their journey.
I have a strong background in the creative, health and sports industries as well as a keen interest in supporting parents and couples in developing a depth of connection in their relationships. I bring an intuitive and discerning approach to my coaching.

More To Life ‘skills tools and abilities’ are an integral part of my life – I simply can’t imagine my life without this knowledge. If something works for me I love to pass it on to others, hence being a Coach. I have been a teacher all of my adult life and before that I remember teaching all three of my younger brothers how to sew their own beach shorts.I was just 13 years old!
I have variously been a classroom teacher, a massage therapist/teacher, studied Educational Kinesiology, First Aid Homeopathics and Emotional Freedom Technique. I created a Birth to Walking course with my post natal coffee group, soon after my first son, Billy, was born. Talk about learning on the spot!
As for experiential learning with More To Life, I attended the first Power Of Self Esteem course in NZ and, yes you guessed it, I wanted to teach that too. Eighteen years on and I have taught over 35 Power Of Self Esteem and Power Of Purpose courses, taught Mastery classes and taken part and teamed in many More to Life weekends and Focus courses. Currently, I am North Island Community Support person and actively involved in leadership here in NZ.
My husband Dave and our two grown up sons, Billy and Oliver (Olly) have also taken part in MTL courses, so it was a very natural next step for me to say yes to becoming a More To Life coach. For me if something works I like to hand it on.The More To Life material is such a fit for me that I find myself using the work daily at the local school, where I work part-time, assisting young five and six years olds who experience learning difficulties.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking for and entertaining visitors on our large country property where I ground myself by gardening and walking our dog, Pipi. Pilates is my favoured form of exercise these days, although I successfully completed two marathons in an earlier life!
As a More To Life Coach I believe I bring a no-nonsense, practical, warm and encouraging approach to assist you to be and do all that you want.

It is a privilege to have the opportunity to come alongside and support you in my role as a More To Life Coach. My own search for truth, my increasing ability to stand on truth and my desire to live by truth have bought me to where I can offer Coaching confidently, professionally and personally.
I am currently consulting as a therapist for a surgeon, with patients referred mainly for surgical intervention to do with weight loss. Within this context I support a diverse group of men and women with varying needs and requirements, and have done so for the past three years.
After training as a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor in 1992 and running my first course for people with disabilities, I set up my own business in 1997. In the first 8 years, alongside my professional development, I provided adventure-based therapeutic programs for children and youth, either one-on-one or in groups, to both people with disabilities and mainstream, using a buddy-mentoring system to assist integration. Some of the activities have been in the water, building water/self-confidence, swimming, snorkeling, scuba experiences and training, adventure-based activities like caving and kayaking, and other outdoor initiatives. We also offered personal challenge workshops and camps, work experience for students, training and support for staff, parents and community groups.
Since my More To Life Weekend in 2002, I have taken most of the focus and advanced courses offered in New Zealand, as well as attending three advanced courses in the US. I am also a Mentor of The Power of Purpose and The Power of Self Esteem, and have regularly offered these courses throughout the year.
I am passionate about people, and in my Therapy and Coaching Practice I provide students with an opportunity to explore some basic foundations of their personal reality. It is my intention to motivate an ongoing process of personal responsibility and transformation in an environment that is holistic, embracing, encourages active learning and the transferring of skills that is safe, transparent and healing.

Looking for a coach who is compassionate, empathetic and intuitive?
Someone who will be for you in your search for a way forward?
Someone who is confident they can deliver just what you need with patience and love?
Someone who has the ability to meet you at your level and connect with you there?
Hi, my name is Ian Huddleston, and I am available to coach you in the life-changing direction of your choice.
I was born in New Zealand, grew up in the King Country province of Central North Island, under the mantel of Mt. Ruapehu, on the banks of the Mangawhero River in Ohakune. I have successfully explored a number of careers.
Working in farming, I developed determination, responsibility and patience from engaging in practical, hands-on work. Thirty-five years later, I completed this stage of my education as a farm manager, in charge of a large farm where I was responsible for the welfare of six staff members and their families.
I was still working as a farm manager when, in 1994, I took the first More To Life Weekend offered in New Zealand. I have been playing on teams and taking focus and advanced courses ever since, in NZ, South Africa and USA.
Living in Africa
The next stage of my education was working in Africa, passing on my knowledge of farming to local/ indigenous people in Tanzania and South Africa.
This experience took me completely out of my cultural “comfort zone.” During the more than four years I was in Africa, I discovered I was skilled in connecting with people and facilitating them to connect with others. Presented with the opportunity to work alongside people of diverse backgrounds who often had a history of mutual intolerance, I was able to engage them to work together towards a common goal. In doing so, they began to put aside their prejudices and acknowledge each other as human beings.
Back in New Zealand
I next worked with autistic men where I enhanced my skills of empathy and compassion. Connecting with people who have little or no verbal skills is rewarding and humbling. I saw past their disabilities and connected with the person within, supporting them to extend themselves both physically and mentally.
My most recent education was becoming a More To Life Coach. As a MTL Coach, I will bring my patience, intuition and diverse experience to stand alongside you, to be for you in your endeavor to discover your true self. And as we work together, I will discover more of my true self as well.
Now in Texas
I am currently living in Austin, Texas with my wife, Jenny Meadows, who is also a More To Life Coach.
My intention is to live here for the next two years, then we will explore our next steps. I have two beautiful daughters and two inspiring grandchildren living in New Zealand.

I was born and raised in the stunningly beautiful Aotearoa - New Zealand.
I am a ‘specialist’ Midwife working in several areas at Christchurch Women’s Hospital; Fetal Medicine, Day Assessment Unit - monitoring high risk pregnancies and Maternity Outpatients. My background is in nursing.
I did my foundation ‘More to Life’ course in 2003; as well as the focus courses Opening the Heart, Relationships, Sexuality and Strengthening the Will; I went to WOW1 and became a warrior in 2004.
I am an accredited Life Line Counsellor (2007) and I have a Level 11 Certification in counselling.
I have also trained and tutored some of the Life Line modules in 2008
I participated in the mentor courses SEE and POP in 2008 and POC 2009
I have a Level 1 Certificate in Reiki 2008 and I am working towards becoming a Reiki master.
I was the TS for New Zealand Coaching Essentials 2008- 2009
I have qualified as a MTL Life Coach in July 2009
By now, the central theme is emerging as to where my passions and interests lie, which is why I am currently working towards becoming a Holistic Health and Wellness ‘More to Life’ Life Coach (Healing Mind, Body and Spirit). This is my true passion, my underlying purpose, my navigating plan. I have had plenty of challenges, which transformed into learning opportunities born out of my tenacity and desire to improve my own life. In the process, I discovered how I almost effortlessly inhabit that role, as it is my true calling.
I easily empathise with others and inspire their trust. My strength lies not only in the ability to be there and listen, but also to inspire and empower others to do the same for themselves. To listen to their true self, not the deceptive one, that is. My passion is in guiding others to uncover their potential in becoming their most inspired self, in helping them unearth their true raison d’être, so that they can navigate through life in harmony with their Higher Self, even when faced with life’s challenges.

I am a Kuwaiti woman who is interested in connecting with people, and bringing the best to their lives. I attended the More to life coaching Course in New Zealand in 2009. I travelled back to Kuwait and forth to NZ, many times to sharpen my coaching skills. I enjoyed being with the Kiwis coaches and land.
I had been introduced to more to life program, through self esteem course, while I was studying Master Degree – Psychology- in Aberdeen in 1999. My study was in Emotion Regulation (expressing emotion vs. suppressing emotions, and reappraising thoughts); it was a gift for me to notice my study’s results and to use Self Esteem processes at the same time. “Checking, verifying our thoughts” was part of a process, noticing how verification affects the level of our emotions and the quality of our thoughts was the application for my study.
Later on I became a mentor for more to life workshops such as Self Esteem, power of purpose and recently the power of connection workshops. Being a Mentor helps me to know people more and how they perceive information and life through different lenses and at different paces. I gain more skill to be with people and notice their development. Practicing MTL processes daily also sharpens my ability to deal with the downs of the life and acknowledge the ups.
Coaching was my next step to reach people: my friends and my community. My purpose with my Coachees is to assist them to know their talents, skills and their deep qualities so that they can reach their goals and handle the challenges that arise, to encourage them to open their heart to their life journey and to be willing to take responsibility for their lives. As a coach my purpose also is to unleash the quality and skills that people have and to bring the feeling of gratitude to myself and those around me.
For my back ground, I graduated from Kuwait University in 1981 (during the first Gulf War, which ended in 1990) as an accountant. Later I worked in Ministry of Oil. After the Kuwait invasion and brief second Gulf War in 1991, I was fed up with the back-to-back wars. I resigned my job with Ministry of Oil and joined the Social Development Office, to attend professional courses which were designed to help the Kuwaiti people to deal with their lives and their emotions after the changes resulted from the war.
My life is a journey of noticing, learning and evolving. We live in a global community of diversity and we search for commonalities. "We’re all in the same boat. We just have different paddles."

I’m a coach and a strategist. My passion lies in facilitating personal epiphany and breakthrough - which applies to both the strategic and the coaching processes.
As a coach, I work with individuals toward their fulfillment, balance and personal clarity. I call it “consciousness coaching”, as I believe that improved performance and specific practical results are achieved primarily through being awake to self, others and context, which opens the way to creativity. In shedding light on one’s internal chatter, automatic behaviours and unhelpful beliefs, my coaching is also unashamedly open to deeply emotional and spiritual processes, where this is appropriate to the client.
I’m married, with a new baby girl who has stolen my heart. I live next to a park that my dogs think is wholly theirs. I value humour and play, creativity, beauty (you should meet my wife), nature, strong relationships, and I love God.
I have completed the ICF accredited programme of Co-Active Coaching courses through the Coaches Training Institute in addition to being licensed as a More to Life Coach. My current day-job is Head of Strategic Planning at Draftfcb Johannesburg.
